Importance of precision in the production of medical devices

When it comes to large cities like Toronto, precision machining is in need everywhere, from factories to hospitals. EDM makes use of an electrical arc to erode the work piece without the actual application of cutting force. Precision machining makes use of EDM for miniaturized components where the amount of metal that has to be removed is relatively small.
